One Answer:

Hello Ara,

Currently, we are finishing the long awaited new shiny prefetch and I'm hoping that we will be able to publish the 4.4 beta 2 this week.

There are no more big inventions for 4.4, so after 4.4. beta 2 is out we are freezing the code base and concentrating on your feedback and bug fixing. Within a week or two after that we will release the 4.4 final, depending on the number of bug reports.

As for IoC container configuration, I'm going to describe a way of doing it in the blog.

Documentation, assemblies are ready, installers are being built right now. Usually, it takes several hours to build, test and publish them.

any chance it's shipping with postsharp 2.1CTP? i hear build times are 5-6 times faster with the new version

I'm afraid, no, as Postsharp 2.1 is in CTP stage only and is not recommended for production, while DataObjects.Net 4.4 branch is rather stable and will be ready for RC/Final soon.

The only thing we could do, is to make a new branch, based on 4.4 one, integrate there PostSharp 2.1 CTP to get prepared for its future release and for performance testing, and publish all this stuff as a 4.4.1 alpha.

Would this scenario be attractive for you?

Will do.

As for your original question, DataObjects.Net 4.4 beta 2 with updated Prefetch is released
