I installed DataObjects.NET version 4.5 and now in Visual Studio 2010 I can't find the dataobjects.net templates. I uninstall and reinstall DO but there aren't the templates.

How can i add the missing templates?

Hello Marcello,

If you can provide more information about your environment (OS version, service packs, etc) I could try to reproduce the problem with template installation.

If you just want to have usable templates, you can download them separately here

Hi Denis,

the templates was already present but in folder "...\Microsoft Visual Studio 10.0\Common7\IDE\ProjectTemplates\CSharp\DataObjects.Net 4.5\1033" I moved the templates files one folder up and run "devenv /installvstemplates". Now is all ok.

I fixed another problem: the environment variable DataObjectsDotNetPath was set to the folder of the previous version

My system: win 7 pro sp1 ita, vs 2010 sp1 ita

Thanks,

Marcello

Many thanks. This could be caused by non-english VS (1033 is a language code).

DataObjectsDotNetPath is not used since 4.5 and thus could be removed completely.

Templates will be installed in correct location since 4.5.1 (expected to be available on next week). Make sure you remove your templates before upgrading.
