Hi,

I'd like to ask if HelpServer could be hosted on a 64-bit Windows Server 2003. If so, how?

Regards, Ver

Here's the error I got when running Install.bat:

Installing Help Server: Installing HelpServer web application... Can't create 'HelpServer': virtual folder already exists. Error: The error indicates that IIS is in 64 bit mode, while this application is a 32 bit application and thus not compatible. Updating ProductKey.txt permissions... Done.

However, tweaking ASP.Net in IIS seems to resolve the problem. The wall I'm facing right now is an invalid product key issue. Please see my other post. Thanks a lot for attending to this.

One Answer:

It's a regular .NET web application, so generally there should be no problems with this.

AFAIK, we didn't try to run in on 64-bit WS2003 recently, but it runs on 64-bit WS2008, and nothing special is required here - i.e. installer sets it up properly.

Try to install or deplay it there. If there will be any error or issue, please describe it here - we'll try to help.
