I made xsd file to enable intellisense for DO4 storage configuration config section within app/web.config. You can read more information(and download) here - Intellisense support for DataObjects.Net 4 storage configuration into Visual Studio.

You can also read my another article describing how i start with DO4 here - Discovering Best ORM Framework - DataObjects.Net 4.

Yes you can integrate my solution for intellisense into your installer, i will be happy that my solution is useful for others. I make some code cleanup and modification and send you zip archive with .NET solution with installer project + xsd file + designer classes built on top of Configuration Section Designer, where you can later make modification when you change/add something in your configuration classes ;-)

And for SMB licence offer, i will be happy to own DO4 licence :-)

This would be perfect :) I send you PM with link to zip archive :-)

One Answer:

This looks really helpful, although I had no time to install & try this yet (v4.1 is still not yet released, so I'll be fully busy with this until this is done), but I'll try to look this up ASAP.

Would you be willing to get a free SMB license in exchange to permit us to integrate .xsd + its installer into DataObjects.Net installer? Default GPL does not allow us to accept any derivative works, if we want to redistribute them under commercial licenses as well. So solving a nice issue related to DO4 is possibly the cheapest way to get a commercial license ;)
