I installed the setup, also downloaded the zip file. But there are no sample projects. I need to use DO.Net in a wcf 3-tier system, and it seems you have a good sample, but where?

One Answer:

Hi Alireza,

I don't have a lot of WCF experience, but perhaps I could aid in the structure of the approach. We've been using DO.NET for a few years and use a tiered approach to provide our services.

We have a class library that contains our DO.NET model.

We use AutoMapper and some thought out generic methods that allow us to map our DO.NET model to specific usage DTOs in a relatively trivial way.

We use JSON services to serialise the DTOs to our web-front end and external services. We also have background services that run in consoles to provide scheduled tasks.

Could you tell me what aspect is troubling you?

(Note: Our current main project is in ASP.NET, but we have achieved the same successes using MVC4's WebAPI so this concept should be transferable to anything similar)
