Is Postsharp 3.0 upgrade planned?

There is a problem with the version of postsharp used by DO: Sharpcrafters have discontinued support and DO NOT issue any more licenses for 2.x version.

Postsharp 3.0 version licenses are not compatible with 2.x and this ultimately prevents us from distributing our product with ability to use Postsharp community license.

Is there any milestone or plans for upgrade to PS 3.x?

We're negotiating redistribution licensing options for DataObjects.Net.

Our goal is to support either PostSharp 3 or some custom solution that works with PostSharp 3 out of the box.

We're currently working on new version of DataObjects.Net which would work without PostSharp, as a consequence you would be able to use any version of PostSharp or no PostSharp at all.

Can you tell us a little more detail about the plans? 1. Do you plan to change it to version 4.7? 2. How much is likely that without the PS version will be released in 2013?

1) Yes, but it would be version 5.0 after 4.6 2) Our current plans to release 5.0 final near end of year, but some wide-available beta would be available in October.
